Daily baseball training includes offensive and defensive training such as T-work, soft-toss, bunting, batting practice, proper throwing/catching techniques, short hop drills, long toss, sliding, team drills, position work with your coaches, and individual work to improve your baseball game. We will teach the basic skills of the sport, along with advanced techniques used by our varsity players.

WEEK 2: JUNE 4-7

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

RISING 1st-6th | 9:00 am-11:30 am

MidAmerica East - Coach Jen Strosberg

The camp will spend four days learning the fundamentals of volleyball. We will cover ball control, movement to the ball, serving, setting, and hitting. Each day will focus on a specific skill while building on the skills learned previously. The last 15 minutes of each day will be scrimmage time where the players will apply the drills they have worked on in practice. This camp will give our 4th graders a great introduction to HLS volleyball and prepare our 5th and 6th graders for their HLS playing season. Whether your daughter is completely new to the sport or a returning player, this camp will benefit her.

CO-ED SOCCER

RISING 3rd-9th I 6 pm-8:30 pm

Spring Meadows Field

By focusing on the technical and tactical aspects of soccer, players will refine their skills in dribbling, shooting, control, and passing under pressure. Each day will begin with a focus on specific foot skills and then transition to individual and team-wide tactics. Finally, because the game itself is the best teacher, each day will conclude with small-sided games to allow each player maximum time with the ball. Join us! Bring a ball.
